A Barré is a handrail that is placed securely so that it can provide you support during different types of exercise. It is typically used in ballet to provide dancers stability and balance while performing both fast and slow exercises.
A Barré class focuses on exercises that are done mostly through small movements resulting in the "shaping" of common weak zones—tightening up the hips, glutes, thighs, and core- which can result in better posture, a stronger core and the appearance of a longer, leaner physique. Yoga postures, weights, bands, sliders, bender balls and other equipment are incorporated into this class as well.
Sorry - that class has already taken place!
