This is the express version of The Beginning Class. If you are looking for the complete cellular rejuvenating benefits of the HOT26 class, it is recommended you begin with a 90 minute class as your primary class at least 3 times per week and use the 45, 60 and 75 minute versions of the class as maintenance classes.
It is called HOT26 because we do the same 26 postures every class in a room heated to 105F and 40% humidity. We practice in just the right temperature to warm the muscles up and increase circulation- inducing a river of sweat that is like a shower for the body from the inside out.
In this class, we use simple, therapeutic exercises to mobilize and strengthen every area of the body, from head to toe, including the internal organs and systems. The same 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises from the Bishnu Ghosh lineage are practiced in every class. 26 is characterized by its use of stillness during and immediately following yoga postures.
